KVNF presents an evening of acoustic music in the intimate setting of the KVNF Talmage Lounge,
233 Grand Avenue in Paonia, Friday, March 19. Doors open at 7:00 and show starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available at KVNF for $20.00. You can also

Mollie O'Brien is one of roots music's best interpreters and singers. Her voice has been described
as "smoky", "powerful", "bright" and "bold as sheet lightening". Whether she's shoutin' the blues or sliding through

Kid's Pasta Project Benefit Dinner for KVNF!
The Kid's Pasta Project is holding a benefit dinner for KVNF Monday, March 22. Great
local food, local cooks, local friends AND support your local community radio and the
Kid's Pasta Project all at the same time! You can't beat that. Reservations can be made by
emailing kidspastaproject@gmail.com. Make your reservations now to come out to the

Music Festivals
Yes, even though there is still snow around us on the Western Slope, it's getting close to
time for our great Colorado music festivals. KVNF supports live music and invites you to take a look at when and where this season's festivals
are happening, get your tickets early and we'll see you out there enjoying live music. If you know of any festival you'd like to see listed that we didn't include, please let us know. 970-527-4866.
Undercurrents Coming to KVNF
Starting March 1, KVNF's overnight programming will be switching to "UnderCurrents", from midnight
until 5:00 am. UnderCurrents is mixed and hosted by Gregg McVicar, former host of
"Earthsongs", with a mix of Rock, Blues, Folk, Native, Americana, Funk,
Electronica, Reggae, World, Dub, Roots and Alternative Country music. You can

Friday nights, "UnderCurrents" will follow "The Bone Conduction Music Show" that airs at midnight.
Tune in March 1 and try out "UnderCurrents" for yourself.

DJ Training
All the DJs you hear on KVNF are volunteers from the community who love to share their
musical interests with KVNF listeners. Have you ever thought about being a KVNF DJ? Here's what some of the
DJs at KVNF have to say about their experiences. If you are interested in becoming a DJ, you have
to be a member of KVNF and attend the DJ Training class. The next training is Tuesday, March 16 and
Thursday, March 18. Call the station during business hours to sign up.

Living Locally For Less
Living Locally For Less is one of the short features aired on Chautauqua, KVNF's forum
for local news and exchange of ideas. Chatautaqua airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
The Living Locally For Less ladies, Connie and Jan give ideas and recipes using locally grown items. To see

StoryCorps on KVNF
StoryCorps interviews recorded in Montrose and Paonia are now airing on KVNF! This independent nonprofit project has a mission to honor and celebrate one another’s lives through listening. StoryCorps recorded 120 interviews in our area. Each conversation recorded will be archived for future generations at the Library of Congress. StoryCorps interviews can also be heard on Morning Edition on National Public Radio.
Our stories are beginning to air on KVNF so keep listening for them. You
can also listen to stories in our StoryCorps archive.

Yes, KVNF is now accepting Pet Members. All our pet members will receive a special KVNF pet tag with a unique ID number in case they wander from home and are found. With this number we can reunite the pet with their owners. See all the details and pictures of some of our newest pet members!
