Delta 2 doubles Annaly Ruiz competes in the opening round of the 4A Region 8 tennis tournament. Delta placed fifth out of 12 teams. Cedaredge 4 doubles Katie O'Hern and Sierra McHugh placed second to qualify for the state tournament, and are the first Delta County players to do so since 2004.

 

Baseball playoffs are in full swing, regional track competition begins today, and the 4A Region 8 tennis tournament took place last week in Grand Junction. For KVNF Sports, Tamie Meck has this report.

They found that compared to long-term studies in the real world, plants are flowering EIGHT TIMES FASTER than their models ever predicted. KVNF’s Julia Kumari Drapkin and iSeeChange spoke to Ben Cook, one of the  lead researchers about how citizens here in the North Fork Valley and the Western slope can help.
