Paige Blank

A blender of the new and old, the folksy and the fun, Paige Blank spins for the Sweet Sound on Thursday morning and for Pickin', KVNF's bluegrass show. By day, she works as a writer and editor for High Country News magazine, based in Paonia, and when she's not in the Air Chair she's probably hiking with her coonhound, Porter. Whether she's out in the paradise that is Western Colorado, or tending to her friendships or succulent plants — folk, Americana, alternative and classic rock are the soundtrack for her life.
