Local Motion: The Search for Tim Cannon

When longtime Telluride resident Tim Cannon went missing this past summer, day after day, community members hoped, prayed and wished for an update. The search played out in the background of daily life -- Tim was what people talked about: at the grocery store, on the street and on the news. Finally, he was found, by a pilot named Deven Felix, who assists with search and rescue operations for area agencies. But on the day he discovered Tim, he was acting as a good Samaritan and decided to fly his fixed-wing over Telluride to have a look. That look put an end to the search, but for KOTO's Cara Pallone, it was the beginning of another story altogether.
