Local News: Hotchkiss Barn Restoration

Enos T. Hotchkiss arrived in the North Fork Valley in 1881, and started homesteading along with the town’s other founders.

The first structure Hotchkiss built—even before completing his house—was a big, brick barn. Two years ago, the century-old barn was damaged by an unusually fierce storm. KVNF’s Ariana Brocious reports on efforts by a few local residents to put the historic structure back together.
