THIS EVENT IS CANCELED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Craftivism is using creativity to improve the world. The library’s Crafternoon club practices craftivism by crocheting and knitting items for charity. Crafters have made blankets for shelter animals, blankets for abused children, and hats for babies in need. This fall we begin scarves, hats, and afghans for the homeless. All ability levels are welcome, and supplies are provided. Feel free to bring your own personal project to work on as well and enjoy the companionship of other crafters.
Donations of acrylic worsted yarn are always needed!
Crafternoon meets on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesdays every month, from 2:30 – 4:30, in the Montrose Library Meeting Room. For more information, please call Carla or Tania at 249-9656.
