We are so excited that in 2020 we will have our local Colorado Master Gardener Course for Mountains and High Desert in Norwood at the Lone Cone Library! Another new thing for the 2020 course is that we will be meeting in the evenings: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm till 9pm beginning January 21st and going through April 9th.
Core topics covered in the course are Botany, Soils, Mountain Gardening, Season Extension, Vegetables, Small Fruits, Trees, Shrubs & Herbaceous Plants, Lawn Care, Insect, Disease & Weed Management and Diagnostics. We will also have 2 – 4 optional classes such as a Fruit Tree Planting & Pruning Field Trip, Plant Propagation and Dr. Whitney Cranshaw, CSU’s Entomologist.
