Week 2 of the 2014 Ridgway Concert Series features Halden Wofford & The Hi-Beams, with opening act Lash LaRue.
Halden Wofford & the Hi-Beams (Halden Wofford, Bret Billings, Greg Schochet, Ben O'Connor & Damon Smith) hail from Denver, and play a brand of country music as boundless and electrifying as America itself. For this Ridgway concert, they prepared a dual-tribute show, featuring music by Bob Dylan and The Grateful Dead. Their 'encore' was a set unto itself, lasting almost another 40 minutes! (Don't miss the surprise "bonus track" at the very tail end of the encore set!)
The Lash LaRue Band calls Park City, Utah home. This Americana/roots-rock band consists of Cole Hobbs, Jack Walzer, Elaine Berns, Karri Dell Hays and Mark Viar.
