  • Colorado Parks and Wildlife confirmed reports of wolf depredation in Grand County earlier this week. A landowner, whose name and property location are not being released by CPW, called wildlife officers to report a dead calf. Officers conducted a field investigation, and confirmed a wolf-livestock depredation had occurred.
  • Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission Chair Carrie Hauser wrote a recent opinion piece about the agency's opportunity to be more culturally inclusive in naming, signage, and history programming. In March, the commission updated its naming policy. For KVNF News, Laura Palmisano speaks to Hauser, who's also the president of Colorado Mountain College.
