The new record is an homage to Loire's late father. '18 Wings' is Loire's debut solo album although she has many notable collaborations with Grammy winning musicians and composers including Glen Velez and Hans Zimmer.

The band is made up of frontwoman Gonzales, Cooper Bradley Shull on guitar, Jordan Will on bass and Sofia Benham on drums. They are slated to open up for KC and The Sunshine Band in 2021.

They chatted with Kori Stanton about the San Juan mountains and how the entire state of Colorado inspired their upcoming album. Velez and Cotler opened the World Music in Paradise Series produced by local musician and teacher David Alderdice. Alderdice joined in for a couple of songs in the Bamboo Room.
