Norwegian band Darling West stops by KVNF to chat with Kori Stanton in the Bamboo Room and perform a few songs including a couple unreleased tracks off of their upcoming album 'We'll Never Know Unless We Try' which is due out in February 2020.

KVNF's Kori Stanton spoke with blues musician Samantha Fish at the 26th Annual Blues & Brews in Telluride. The two sat poolside in Mountain Village and talked about Fish's new album Kill or Be Kind which Fish says is "All about the guiatr".

Grammy winning, iconic world music drummer, Glen Velez and acclaimed rhythm vocalist, Loire Cotler stopped by KVNF to talk with Kori Stanton before their concert at the Paradise Theatre in Paonia. Velez and Cotler opened the World Music in Paradise Series produced by local musician and teacher David Alderdice. Alderdice joined in for a couple of songs in the Bamboo Room.

Steel Betty is a traditional and original folk-grass band from Austin, TX. The trio stopped by KVNF to talk about their debut album "So Darn Lonesome" that comes out Sept. 14th, 2019. Maddie, Mc D and Micah spoke with KVNF’s Kori Stanton about their passion for bluegrass music festivals and what it’s like being a band in Austin.

Desi Valentine is a pop singer and songwriter who is from London and currently based out of Los Angeles, CA. Desi and his band performed at the final concert for the Mountain Air Music Series in Ouray, Colorado. KVNF's Kori Stanton spoke with Desi before the show and talked with him about his musical theater background including being part of the original cast of 'The Producers' and what it was like working with Mel Brooks.

Deliberate Kin is a bluegrass/americana/singer-songwriter duo based out of Kansas. Amanda Jo and Alex have been performing together for many years but recently decided to take their new duo on the road along with their two girls. In this Talkin Music KVNF's Kori Stanton talks with Deliberate Kin before their show at TADA Your Art Space in Delta. The duo talked about their new album Things Happen and debuted their newest single Hard Things in the Bamboo Room.

Taylor performed a couple of songs off his new album and also a prerelease of song he's anticipating will be on his next record. Taylor has toured with Otis Taylor and played alongside the likes of Warren Haynes.

They talked about the evolution of her music, Joni Mitchell and her upcoming birthday concert on May 18th at the Paradise Theatre in Paonia. Gabrielle also provided KVNF listeners with an exclusive sneak peak of a few tracks off of her upcoming album.
