Soul singer, songwriter and guitarist Ron Artis II stopped by KVNF in Paonia, CO to talk about his new album "Love is Love" which is due out on Sept. 9th, 2019. Ron played a few unreleased tracks for our listeners and talked with KVNF's Kori Stanton about the evolution of his music and how on this record he was hearing strings and horns instead of the rock and roll sounds we heard on his previous album "Soul Street".

Irish band I Draw Slow stopped by KVNF before their show at Pickin in the Park in Paonia, CO. Kori Stanton spoke with the band about the last eleven years and the major differences between performing at home and in the states. I Draw Slow also debuted one of their newest songs called "Terminal Bird" which was inspired by their time traveling through airports while on tour.

Rob Miller started Pickin' Productions in 2008,  producing two free summer concert series in the towns of Paonia and Ridgway.  Now celebrating ten years of bringing music to the western slope, Rob is starting a brand new series in Moab, Utah as well as one in Crawford, Colorado.  He’s also booking a live music series for Delicious Orchards in Paonia.  Here, Rob speaks with Ali Lightfoot about his work and some of the artists you can catch this summer.
