Colorado's unemployment rate continues to drop. In October it was 4.3 percent and has moved down to 4.1 percent. The last time it was this low was in January of 2008.

Unemployment rates in Delta, Mesa, and Montrose counties remain above the state average, but still below the national average. State officials say the economy on the Western Slope is improving, but at a slower pace when compared to the Front Range.
