LA folk-punk musician, Sunny War stops by KVNF before her performance for the 'Live Music Still Soothes The Soul Series' to talk about her recent EP 'Can I Sit With You'.

The four tracks on the new EP were originally part of a full length album that War was set to release before the pandemic hit.  War said she "chose the ones that I thought were kind of relatable to what was going on... and just about isolation and feeling like the world is ending." War says she still plans to put a full record out even in a time where she won't be able to play live gigs to promote her new music.
