2020 Annual Meeting Ballot

The bylaws of North Fork Valley Public Radio, Inc. may be changed by the membership, according to the following:

ARTICLE IX. AMENDMENTS Section 1 - The By-Laws of the Corporation may be altered, amended, or repealed and new By-Laws may be adopted, by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of the members voting by secret ballot. Ballots for By-Law changes shall be posted no later than 30 days prior to the membership meeting. Ballots shall include the proposed changes and shall include a rationale for the proposed change(s). Proposals for bylaw changes must be submitted to the KVNF business office no later than 45 days prior to the annual Membership Meeting. Section 2 Proposed changes submitted by e-mail and/or fax are acceptable provided that they comply with all other provisions of this article and the Public Notice announcing the annual meeting.

The Board of Directors has proposed amendments to the KVNF Bylaws to be voted on by current members. The ballot and the rationale for the proposed change may be downloaded below. You may also request to have the ballot mailed to you, or you may pick one up at KVNF,  233 Grand Ave., Paonia, CO. 

The Annual KVNF Membership meeting will be held on Monday, October 19th at 5:30pm; there will not be a physical meeting this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. All ballots must be returned either physically at the Paonia office or by mail to KVNF, PO Box 1350, Paonia, CO, 81428. Ballots must be returned by 5:00pm on Friday, October 16 and must be in a sealed envelope with the member's name on the outside. Households with a family membership may submit 2 ballots. All other memberships (individual or current underwriters) may submit 1 ballot. They will be counted and the results announced at the Virtual Annual Meeting.
