Alley Cropping with Elizabeth Agee
Alley Cropping with Elizabeth Agee
Elizabeth is Just Good Food Manager at CoFFA and a permaculture consultant in Paonia. Join us for an educational workshop around alley cropping followed by a hands on planting day. Alley Cropping is a regenerative practice that involves planting trees and shrubs in rows between other crops. This practice has a myriad of benefits ecologically and to the farmer including incorporating more crops into a small space, cutting out the need to clear land, increased water retention and maintained soil fertility.
