Visit the Delta Library to view art by Heidl Hasenauer. Hasenauer is a Colorado based artist who was technically trained in 3D sculptural arts. Her desire to create quickly and with little to no plan led her away from long-drawn out techniques and toward fast drying acrylic paint. The focus of this series is based on understanding the effects of experience and phenomena on the human psyche. This art exhibit will be on display at the Delta Library until July 27. For more information, visit deltalibraries.org.

The CU Playback Improv ensemble joins us at the Stolte Shed for Story Share. Local historian Jerry McHugh's family story will be represented by a video, a story read aloud by local author Don Benjamin, visual art by local artist Barbara Torke, and a performance by the CU Playback Improv ensemble. Audiences have loved past performances by the group, and this one will have a special connection to the history of Surface Creek Valley. Join us on Thursday, May 16 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Stolte Shed is a historical fruit packing shed at 388 S Grand Mesa Dr, Cedaredge, Colo. This event is sponsored by the Cedaredge Women's Literary Club. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person. For more information, visit deltalibraries.org, or call Cedaredge Library at 970-399-7674.
