Begins with a short video (25 minutes) on the historical background of the First Amendment, followed by a brief q & a on the video. Next there will be a presentation on news literacy from Emmy award-winning broadcast journalists Judy Muller and George Lewis. They will speak from their experience and help us to recognize credible news in today's multifaceted news environment. A social hour will follow. Free to the public and all are welcome.

Writing as Remedy workshops at Wellspring Vitality invite you into a supportive, creative space where storytelling becomes a tool for healing, reflection, and connection. Through friendly prompts and shared presence, we use words to process what’s been held, honor lived experience, and remember that we don’t heal alone. No writing experience needed, just a willingness to show up and explore.
