Alpine Bank Community Matching Fund
The Alpine Bank Community Matching Fund is for Delta, Montrose and Ouray County-based non-profit organizations wanting to relay their message throughout KVNF’s 10,000 square mile listening area. Organizations are able to have their underwriting matched dollar-for- dollar by the fund, doubling the impact of their message.
Underwriting on KVNF is an affordable and efficient way to transmit your message. With the matching fund, you can maximize your marketing budget. Matching grants will be awarded at two separate times in 2021. The fund will match a minimum of $200.00 and a maximum of $400.00 annually per organization.
An organization can apply before the final deadline of October 1st 2021 but an organization can only receive one award in 2021. Non-profits need to organize their outreach around the deadlines to have the messages run within the award period.

What is the Fund?

Who is it for?
The fund helps local 501c3 non-profits by doubling the impact of their marketing dollars. Underwriting on KVNF is an effective tool for increasing the public’s awareness of your organization’s mission, events, opportunities, and needs. Grants are only made to organizations located in Delta, Montrose and Ouray Counties, Colorado.
How do we apply?

When will my underwriting announcements air?
The announcements will be scheduled according to your choice, ideally to be scheduled at the time your order is placed and keep in mind it can take up to 2 weeks to set up a schedule and finalize language for your spots. Various plans and custom schedules are available to fit your organization's needs.
How much of an investment must I make?
The fund will match a minimum of $200.00 and a maximum of $400.00 per approved organization, which, for example, could total $800 in Underwriting if awarded the full $400 match. The non-profits who are awarded will be required to pay for their portion of underwriting upon award, even if their announcements don't start until later. All underwriting must be scheduled within one year of award date and ideally will run in the quarter they apply in.
What can my underwriting announcement say?
Announcements can be used to increase the public’s awareness of your organization's service to the community, special events, volunteer and other needs. Spots are read by our announcers and are subject to rules and regulations of both the FCC and KVNF.
An example spot sounds like this: "Support for KVNF comes from members and from (Organization name) hosting an evening of music and fine dining in support of community service on Saturday, November 12 6pm-9pm at the Montrose Pavilion. Tickets and information are available online at (your website)."
