The Black Canyon Audubon Society is sponsoring field trips to view wintering raptors in the North Fork Valley on Saturday and Sunday, February 3 and 4th. We will drive the back roads between Hotchkiss, Crawford, and Paonia searching for a wide variety of raptors that occupy the area during the winter months and for some, year-round. We will meet at Hotchkiss City Market at 9:00 and plan to be out until 2 or 3PM. Please bring binoculars, warm clothes, and snacks and drinks. Space is limited to 12 participants each day.
