The 28th annual Black Canyon Quilt Show will be held at the Montrose Pavilion, 1800 Pavilion Dr., Montrose, CO on Jully 11—13. The show will feature 150+ quilts, vendors, boutique with handmade “quilty” items, scissor sharpening, and quilt appraisals. Jean Impey, nationally known quilt artist, will present an entertaining lecture and trunk show entitled "Finding Your Passion and Running with It” on Saturday at 2pm. Lecture cost is $15 at the door. Raffle tickets are available at the show for a gorgeous quilt made by Guild members. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Insurance companies generally require written appraisals for insurance purposes, but an appraisal can also provide a wealth of information about family heirlooms, too.
Show hours are 9—5 on Friday and Saturday; 10—3:30 on Sunday. Admission is $5.00.
