KVNF has the beer and wine concession at the BMW Top O’ The Rockies motorcycle rally in Paonia July 25-27. If you are 21 or older, KVNF needs you to volunteer your time and staff the KVNF Radio Roadhouse. It’s a great chance to reach out to a wider potential audience and MAKE MONEY FOR THE STATION. Plus, it will be great fun!

The KVNF Radio Roadhouse is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 12 noon to 12 midnight. We anticipate heavy sales later each afternoon, into the evening, and could possibly be very busy until we close at midnight.

Please take a moment to confirm a time you can help. There are several positions:

Sales – sell drink tickets, take money.

• This position may also have to qualify guests as 21 and older, and place a tyvek band on their wrist.
• We have many of these slots filled already filled

Dispensation – as the name suggests, draw and serve beers. You may also dispense wit and wisdom, if you’re up for it; and, you MUST dispense with egos. Remember why we’re here.

Liaison – serve two functions

• Staff the portion of the Roadhouse where we sell merchandise and raffle tickets, and distribute KVNF literature;
• Rove the park as a representative, watching for underage drinking and/or drinking outside the established boundaries (basically, the white fence – where it exists). This is a requirement of our special event permit allowing us to sell beer and wine.

Setup and tear down – setting up Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, and tearing down Sunday morning.

Preparation– in advance we may need some errands run, some signs made, some things gathered, etc. Let me know if you have time the first part of next week to help.Four hour shifts begin at 11:00 or so each day and go until about 12:30 am each day.
