Kirtan is the ancient yogic practice of call and response chanting from India. We have Americanized it, made it funky and rocking and gospel and danceable and all sorts of fun! Steve Emmerman has been playing and leading kirtan for 26 years around the world with his own Chicago-based group Devi 2000 as well as with legendary kirtan leaders Dave Stringer, Saul David Raye, Krishna Das, Jai Uttal, Bagavan Das, Suzanne Sterling, etc.

The band consists of world class musicians David Alderdice, Daniel Be, and John Whooley, and is joined by supremely talented singers Aja McAdams and Katie Snyder. There will be levitation, enlightenment, dolphin rides, and possibly refreshments....
