John Wendt

I am currently a volunteer DJ on KVNF and have been a DJ on and off starting in the mid 80's. (The Jaws)

I have served on the BOD of KVNF twice in the past in the 1980s and 1990s. 

I was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper in 2018 to serve on The Colorado Real Estate Commission for a 3 year term. I was elected chair in August 2018.

I served on the Colorado Tennis Association 2019-2021

General info: 

While I have worked in the Roaring Fork Valley  since 2005, I have lived in Delta County since 1977. I currently live in Orchard City. On my commute to work I listen to KVNF and Aspen Public Radio and at times to KDNK and CPR. Through the years I have supported KVNF generally as a member.

I believe that KVNF volunteers and staff make an incredible difference in our western slope community. My primary mission in wanting to serve on the BOD is to try to give back to an entity that has provided so much entertainment and enjoyment, through the years in my life.
