Norm Simmer
Moved to Denver, Colorado in 1974 from Chicago & have been involved in the Music & Entertainment business ever since. I have worked in Promoter/Venue Production, Artist touring/mixing Live FOH sound.
While later in my musical career: Teaching Live Sound Mixing, as well as Consultation, Design & Sales of custom Audio/Video/Lighting systems for: Corporate clients, Bars/nightclubs/restaurants & Churches.
After retiring in Montrose about 2-years ago, I was looking for ways to be involved in my new community. I have always wanted to be on the radio since listening to WLS/Chicago in 6th Grade, even taking voice-over lessons for a short while. Being a KVNF Studio-M volunteer dj has been a dream come true & I'm loving every opportunity I get to host a show to play those Classic Vinyl & Deep Tracks I grew up with.
