You may have seen electroculture touted on social media where copper stakes wrapped in copper wire are staked in garden soil to create beneficial electronic fields for growing better gardens. Unfortunately, there is no consistent scientific evidence showing that copper-wrapped stakes or antennas placed in garden soil improved growth. Academic experts found that these copper rods generated negligible voltage, too low to alter the garden’s plant physiology or capture meaningful atmospheric energy. So, electroculture won’t ever replace good organic garden soil management.
