🌟 Opportunity to Participate in a Community Committee on Short-Term Rentals

The Town of Paonia is forming an ad hoc committee to explore and provide recommendations on Short-Term Rentals (STRs) for consideration by the Board of Trustees. This five-member committee will include:
• Two Trustees: Rick Stelter and Kathy Swartz
• Town Administrator: Stefen Wynn
• Two members of the public with varied perspectives on STRs

Community members who have an interest in this topic and would like to contribute to the discussion are encouraged to learn more about the opportunity. Applications will be reviewed on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 9:00 AM.

The committee will convene on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 3:30–5:30 PM to finalize its membership. Applicants may attend this meeting and, if they wish, offer a brief two-minute statement about their interest in participating.
