Spotting over 380 birds in the Kenyan Highlands
Black Canyon Audubon Society will host Don Marsh, birder extraordinaire who recently completed a trip of a lifetime- to search for birds and other wildlife in the Kenyan Highlands. He will cover the 12-day bird and wildlife tour that explored a wide variety of habitats north and west of Nairobi. Sites visited included the Mount Kenya area, Buffalo Springs National Reserve, Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Baringo, the Kakamega Forest, Lake Victoria and points in between. The tour resulted in sighting over 380+ species of birds, plus dozens of mammal and reptile species. (photo: Black-and-White Casqued Hornbill pair)
