WINNERS OF THE 2024 TELLURIDE BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL BAND CONTEST

The Still House String Band is an up and coming progressive bluegrass band you need to check out. From the Bar at the Peach Street Distillery in Palisade, to the Main Stage at Telluride, The Still House String Band is a true Colorado bluegrass band. They are as comfortable playing Appalachian and Nashville standards as they are playing jam grass and covering Bruce Springsteen. Their original songs tell of modern love, heartbreak, and the scenery of the high Colorado desert that they call home. The band has opened for Yonder Mountain String Band, Sam Bush Band, The Brothers Comatose, Armchair Boogie, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Pert Near Sandstone, and Woodbelly as well as an annual gig headlining the Mesa Theater in Grand Junction in December and hosting the Palisade Bluegrass Bash in April. The band just recorded a series of original songs in the E-Town studio in Boulder in anticipation of an upcoming EP. With the wind at their back and friends along the way, the sky’s the limit for this group of original performers.
