On this week's Local Motion, we explore why millennials are moving to Colorado.
KVNF's Laura Palmisano interviewed three millennials who moved to the state for opportunity and lifestyle. We'll hear from Megan MacMillan, 30, who owns North Fork Foods in Paonia, Kelsey Gibb, 23, who works at a solar company in Carbondale, and Troy Bowen, 19, who works as a dishwasher and prep cook in Hotchkiss.
MacMillan hails from Canada. Gibb migrated from Vermont. And, Bowen comes from Cedar City, Utah.
Palmisano also discusses what attracts young people to the state with Martin Shields, an economics professor at Colorado State University.
