Starting Monday, Oct. 25th, KVNF has a new program lineup. Our statewide news program from KUNC, Colorado Edition, is now on the air 5 days/week at 6:30 pm, moving from the 3:30 pm Tue-Fri slot. It's now airing on the same day that it's produced at KUNC.
As a result, our midday music shows are going back to their 3-hour length, from 10 am - 1 pm and 1 pm - 4 pm, Monday-Friday.
We're adding a new show to the lineup, again with a Colorado focus - Colorado Inside Out, from PBS12 in Denver, airs at 6:00 pm Monday.
As the Worm Turns, live call-in gardening advice with Jill, Lance & Lulu, moves up to 6:00 pm Tuesday.
Local Motion has shifted to Wednesday at 6:00 pm
Talkin' Music (or sometimes NPR's All Songs Considered) will play Thursday at 6:00pm.
Friday at 6:00 pm will be a 1/2 hr. version of KVNF's Wild Card, with a selection of documentary/public affairs/spoken word/audio art pieces.
On Sundays, we're adding a new local music show, Lassez Faire, from 2:00-4:00 pm. Stop Time will shrink a bit, 2 hrs instead of 3, from noon-2:00 pm. At 4 pm, a new music program from Native Voice 1, Gaënö’, that focuses on the various genres of contemporary music created by talented artists from the numerous Indigenous Nations of Turtle Island.
