Two Southern Ute tribal council members were sworn into their positions after being elected in November. With a trigger ban looming, providers at the women’s clinic in Jackson Wyoming are gearing up for more restrictions on reproductive freedoms.

Lisa was born in Texas but grew up on a small farm in Olathe, Colorado and considers herself a “Colorado native after six years of age.” Lisa served nearly four years as the KVNF Regional Newscast Host and Senior Staff Reporter. She retired in March of 2026, but continues as a freelance reporter for the station.
