LOCAL NEWS: Mind Springs Health in Grand Junction is now being operated by Health Solutions, a behavioral health care provider based in Pueblo. According to reporting in the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel, the new owners plan to expand its service range. Having dealt with the immediate financial crises, Health Solutions is in the process of reviewing their existing services and looking to shore up its foundations via capital and leadership investments. An underground electrical fault reported by Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA) led to a last-minute school cancellation for Cedaredge Middle School and Cedaredge High School on Tuesday. The issue left both schools without any power for the day. The power outage did not affect any extracurricular activities. Cedaredge Elementary School had a regular day.
Ouray County Alerts are notifying area residents that rockfall hazards, blasting and removal on Camp Bird Road will take place on Friday, April 25 after 12:00 PM (Noon). Camp Bird Road is closed at the Senator Gulch gate, no access is permitted past this point.
