Founded by Richard and Marilyn Bailey in 2003, the Hotchkiss Sheep Camp Stock Dog Trial has been fetching sheep every spring in the beautiful North Fork Valley for 18 years.
Dog lovers from all across the U.S. will travel to Hotchkiss, Colo. to watch the 11th Annual Sheep Camp Stock Dog Trials.
Held in a scenic pasture just one block from town, the highly popular event is the second largest in the state (behind only the dog trials in Meeker).
Friday - starts at 8am. Novice and Nursery dogs; and in the afternoon a special event called the "Silent Gather" where more advanced dogs complete a 2 minute gather of sheep, without any commands from the handler.
Saturday and Sunday starting at 7am. Pro Novice and Open dogs compete.
Food and other vendors will be on site.

The judge will be Carol Clawson from Utah.
Handlers coming from California, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Canada
A concession table will be available with hats and shirts for sale.
