These meetings are an invitation to come home to ourselves and each moment.
Thursday Mornings 9-10 am @ Paonia Senior Center located at 106 3rd St in Paonia.
All are welcome to participate in these inclusive, non-denominational weekly circles. Please bring water & whatever will support sitting comfortably, chairs provided.

Cedaredge Elementary School shows their best student art in the Alpine Bank Education Room

Open Studio at the Art Garage: See poster for days and times.

As part of a nationwide mass mobilization, we will be marching in peaceful solidarity to protest the ceaseless attacks on our constitutional rights.

In ongoing sessions, we will copy the masters and explore complimentary colors.
- Students will learn a variety of strokes needed for refining pastel drawings.
- Work with the color wheel, blending and gesture will be explored.
- We will illustrate a story and hopefully end with the students’ own created picture.
- Students will be given cellophane sleeves to frame and carry their work home.

These are 4 week sessions on Thursdays: January 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th (continuing every month until May 15th) Time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Age: HS and Adult
Cost: $20 per class or $80 per session with a one-time $5 material fee
This instructor is approved by Vision Charter Academy.

Meet Your Instructor: Thesa Callinicos
Waldorf Teacher
Thesa is a Waldorf Teacher who has taught children for 45 years in Boulder, Denver, Honolulu, and Paonia. She guided children in writing and illustrating their own text-books from 1st through 8th grade. She has taught painting, drawing, clay modeling, and handwork to all ages.

Thesa is currently a grade level and art instructor for Gradalis Teacher Training in Denver CO

Sip a beverage, enjoy the company of friends, old & new, and create a beautiful work of art you’ll be proud to hang in your home or give as a gift! Experienced art instructor Blair will guide you through creating an acrylic painting with step-by-step instructions in a relaxed atmosphere, and you will go home with a masterpiece. No experience necessary, all materials and a drink are included.
