Join the Diversity Library Book Club on Monday, September 22 at 5:00pm at The Hearth, 138 Grand Ave, Paonia. This month’s discussion features Gender Queer: A Memoir by Maia Kobabe.
The club meets every 4th Monday of the month—come read, share, and connect.
Healthy Rhythm Art Gallery presents “The Power of the Mic”, a Spoken Word Open Mic. Express yourself by sharing up to five minutes of poetry, slam poetry, stand-up comedy, or any other form of word art! If you’re not interested in performing, come enjoy the Gallery and support the spoken word artists while you experience the power of expression through words. The Mic starts at 7PM, the 4th Monday of each month, at Healthy Rhythm Art Gallery, 33 N. Uncompahgre Avenue in Downtown Montrose. Doors will open at 6:45 for signups. All ages are welcome. Please be aware that some material may be for mature audiences. Entry is FREE! Any and all donations are appreciated.
