The Friends of the Paonia Library will host a Cherry Days Book Sale on Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5 from 10am to 5pm. The sale is a donation-based model (pay what you can). All proceeds benefit the Paonia Public Library!
Join us on Fridays: June 13th, 20th, and 27th from 1:00–3:00 PM at The Hearth for a playful, hands-on mask making experience where imagination runs wild.
What’s Included:
All materials provided and templates for more skilled mask making
Guidance for all ages and skill levels
A chance to create a mask to wear in the July 4th Parade!
Children under 7 must be accompanied by a guardian.
This event is free and open to all, made possible by The Learning Council, The Hearth, and Arts for All. Come to one session or all three! Each Friday offers a new chance to explore your artistic side and get parade-ready in style.
Join us for the annual 4th of July and Cherry Days Ice Cream Social at the Paonia museums. Root beer floats, ice cream, and cookies will be served. The museums will be open for tours.

Ouray Made is partnering up with the Ouray Performing Arts Guild once again to present Ouray Colorado's Music and Makers Fest!
Join us this Labor Day weekend at Fellin Park from 10 AM to 5 PM for a special celebration of art and music. This free event will feature local and regional creators, nonprofits, food trucks, beer tent, and musical guests: You Knew Me When, Smutdolly, Stillhouse Junkies, and Ladyhawk.

Winners of the 2024 Telluride Bluegrass Band Contest, the Still House String Band will make you sing and their covers will make you dance. Music starts at 7:00, but come early to kick back on the lawn of Two Rivers Winery in the shadow of the Colorado National Monument with a picnic dinner and enjoy a glass of wine. All proceeds benefit The Art Center of Western Colorado.

Join us for the 4th annual Southwest Fresh Fest at Billy Goat Hop Farm in Montrose, CO on September 20th! Attendees and brewers alike can enjoy fresh hop and seasonal beers from across the region in a rad complimentary taster glass. There will also be a Pickin’ Party with live bluegrass music, local food trucks, farm tours, and games… not to mention the panoramic views from the San Juan Mountains to the Grand Mesa.
