This gallery show celebrates the work from members of Plein Air Artists Colorado's North Fork Group. This work is a tribute to their work spanning 16 months and features ten different artists. Come see their gorgeous renditions of familiar local sites and definitely come listen to live music from Louisiana artist Logan Wise!
Some see the amazing work these two artists have been creating!
Artist in residence Caitlin Schmitt, and Rachel Rosenkoetter, have been deep in their birthing process during the Magickal month of April with The School of Magick: a mystery school that takes place annually at the Elsewhere Studios building here in Paonia.
Caitlin's creative process channels the wisdom, energy, and emotions of the embodied experience into the visible realm. She offers portrait sessions that integrate her skills in holding sacred space, energy healing and painting into one beautiful offering.
Rachel Rosenkoetter, makes images, objects and spaces that address mystical experience and the historical and contemporary archetypes swirling around these states of being. Immersion in ecstatic states drives me to attempt to express their bizarre, boundary-dissolving resonance.
Stop by to see Phil's multi-media work during its last month at the gallery. Light refreshments provided.
Please join the Ridgway Chamber and guide collaborators for a Launch Party with friends, beers, pizza and a FREE Gravel Adventure Field Guide. Doug & Heather will play a live music set at the launch party. Marchio's Grill Food Truck will also be on site.
Final Friday Art Opening: Memos & Motifs work by Bodhi Gilroy Inspired by the Italian renaissance & abstract modern paintings, Gilroy's film photography attempts to create scenes with painterly qualities, filling the frame with visual interest & pushing to bring a unique perspective. This collection of photographs combine two distinct topics of the American West & Italy.
