Join us for a fun series of sketching/drawing lessons with Cedar Keshet! The first part of each class will be a discussion of techniques and skills for sketching. The second part of each class will be putting the techniques and skills into practice by sketching from objects and still life provided. This workshop will help participants develop and reinforce skills to enable them to be proficient in sketching and drawing. The participants will learn chronological steps to sketching confidently and creatively express themselves using simple sketching materials. We will be following classical sketching and drawing, meaning a realistic approach.

* Basic drawing skills are not required. This workshop will be geared toward beginning levels of sketching & drawing. Participants will gain a whole set of tools to use for sketching.
* Provided materials that you will keep include: 11” x 14” Sketch pad, 15” x 16” Sketch pad board, Set of artist pencils – HB, 2B, 6B, H & 2H, kneaded eraser.
* Last day to register for this class is January 10th.

4 week session with 8 hours of instruction total starting January 24th
Cost: $180/student plus a $30 material fee
