Discover the early blooming wildflowers of this stunning local National Park located at 7500’. Ridgway writer Mary Menz and Montrose photographer Jim Pisarowicz will guide participants at several sites in the park to view the variety of plants found at this altitude. Participants will meet at a centrally-located place to carpool from Ridgway or Montrose. If not carpooling, participants are responsible for their own entry fee to the Park.

Different elevations and habitats provide opportunities to view a wide variety of Colorado’s native plants and wildflowers. Register for one guided experience or all! Maximum of 12 participants.

Ridgway writer Mary Menz and Montrose photographer Jim Pisarowicz will share their extensive plant knowledge and excitement for the area with you. Registration includes a copy of their book Common Wildflowers of the San Juan Mountains (second printing 2022) and surprize items, too!
