Just in time for National Friends of the Libraries Week: Friends of Crawford Library proudly present the new lighted sign in front of Crawford Library.

Join us to celebrate, socialize, and thank the businesses and organizations who contributed to the project: DMEA, Crawford Pioneer Days, Friends of the Crawford Town Hall, Friends of the Crawford Library, and Fruitland Mesa Community Club. We will also be making pony bead keychains as a craft throughout the day.

Friends of Crawford Library will provide refreshments and share stories about what Friends of the Libraries do for libraries and the community. The Friends will also provide their survey seeking input from the community about future library programs.

Astronomer and Deep Space Astrophotographer David Elmore is returning to Norwood after 9 years to take a photo of the Heart and Soul Nebula. He took the first and only Deep Space photo of the Andromeda Galaxy in October 2016. In addition to providing the new photo, David will give a talk on DarkSky and Astronomy at Norwood's Livery 1555 Summit St, Norwood, CO.
