The Flight of the Eagle project is a collaboration between the Delta County School District, students and the community to raise money for a new track and field at Paonia High School.The first phase of the project is to raise $100,000 to break ground for an eight lane, all weather track. In later phases of the project, they hope to raise money to create trails by the river and a useable recreation space for the whole community.
