Delta's Basecamp for the unhoused was closed on November 9, 2022

A number of questions have been raised concerning the closure of a homeless encampment west of Delta. Lisa Young recently spoke with Delta City Manager Elyse Casselberry via phone to get some answers. Today is the final day to participate in Colorado Gives Day 2022. Colorado Gives Day has grown to be Colorado's largest 24-hour giving event, raising more than $362 million for nonprofits across the state since it began, according to ColoradoGives.org.

Lisa was born in Texas but grew up on a small farm in Olathe, Colorado and considers herself a “Colorado native after six years of age.” Lisa has seven years experience in media, beginning as a News Director for a small radio station on the Eastern Plains.
