MLK Day Montrose Celebration

MLK Day Montrose Celebration

Montrose is proud to celebrate with the rest of the nation Martin Luther King Jr. Day with its 2nd Annual Day of Service events, a momentous occasion that promises to engage and inspire our community. This celebration is not just a reflection of our past; it is a commitment to the values Dr. King stood for—equality, justice, and unity.

The Day of Service events in Montrose promise to be an inspiring and enriching experience, featuring a diverse lineup of activities that cater to all ages and interests. From the dynamic Marade, which combines the spirit of a march with the celebration of a parade, to engaging service projects that encourage community involvement, there is something for everyone to participate in.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy thought-provoking film screenings and witness the presentation of humanitarian awards, honoring those who embody Dr. King's legacy of service and compassion. The Kindness & Community Storytime is a particularly special highlight, fostering a love for reading while introducing young minds to the values of equality and justice.
