Ridgway River Corridor Field Trip
Guided by UWP Technical Coordinator Ashley Bembenek and Ridgway Town Manager Preston Neill, this is a biking tour with stops along the Uncompahgre River and walks at sites. The Uncompahgre River corridor is a critical wildlife habitat and water resource that traverses Ridgway from south to north. While development, climate, seasonal changes, and other human and natural causes impact the riparian areas and watershed health, UWP and the town are considering ways to protect and restore balance.
