Join the Western Slope Fibershed to learn about shearing sheep and processing wool for fiber. Discussion on types of wool, uses of wool, different breeds of sheep for wool production & more! Participants will be able to help in the hands-on activity of skirting - cleaning the wool as it is being sheared.

The Western Slope Fibershed seeks to support local fiber artists and honor the rural heritage of the Western Slope by promoting natural fibers, sustainable practices, and collaboration among small-scale members of the agricultural community.
