KVNF's Kori Stanton talks with Paonia, CO native, Naomi Sikora from her hotel in New York City. Naomi left Colorado in mid March to work at a hospital in Manhattan. Naomi shares her perspective as a Critical Care Nurse and describes her experience so far. KVNF also speaks with Montrose resident and Delta County Memorial Hospital ER Nurse, Jason Birchem who called into KVNF from White Plains, NY where he is working at a hospital on a 7 week contract. Jason talks about how this disease is affecting his patients and how he helps patients visit with their families. Jason also shares details about suiting up in PPE before entering the ICU.
