Operations at the South Rim Fire are winding down as fire crews begin 'mop up' operations

The Currant Creek Fire burning in Delta County is listed at 20 percent containment. The fire gained ground growing from 183 acres to roughly 193 acres. The Delta County Fair in Hotchkiss is wrapping up this week with its Junior Livestock Sale on Saturday.
