In 2022 the USDA Ag Census reported over 1 million acres less land being irrigated compared to 1997 in Colorado. What are the things driving these changes across the state, what are the impacts and how are communities being affected?

As the Colorado Department of Agriculture's first Agricultural Water Policy Advisor, Robert is engaging in water conversations across the state. He will share what he has learned from travelling across the different basins, how communities are adapting, what the Colorado Department of Agriculture is doing and what opportunities there may be in the North Fork Valley.
