Norwood Park & Rec District invite you to another installment of "SNL: Saturday Night @ the Livery"—Norwood's sporadic speakers series—at 7pm on August 2nd, featuring Eric Brantingham with his presentation: "A Strange Way Across: My Solo Trans-Continental Bike Ride." In 119 days he rode from Portland, Oregon, to Prince Edward Island, Canada, pedaling over 6200 miles, climbing 200,000 feet of elevation, swimming in 5 Great Lakes, and replacing 3 tires. Plus there will be an exhibit of all his gear for the equipment-curious. Eric's favorite snacks and beverages from the road will be provided! $5 at the door.
