This week on Local Motion, KVNF's Gavin Dahl speaks with two reporters at nonprofit magazine High Country News about their latest stories focused on specific communities in Colorado. Nick Bowlin explains his story based in Gunnison County, "When COVID hit, a Colorado county kicked out second-home owners. They hit back." Then Eric Siegel discusses his story based in the Wet Mountain Valley, "Meet the gun-toting 'Tenacious Unicorns' in rural Colorado."

He won awards and recognition for his KVNF reporting from the Colorado Broadcasters Association and Society of Professional Journalists.
